![]() Start by connecting the power cord to the WAP access point and power the device ON, make sure the toggle switch on the side is set on the wireless mode you wish to use. On the below diagram device (A) is the WAP3205 and device (B) is the primary wireless base station (home router or wireless access point). ![]() The WAP3205 will establish a link to your wireless base station and you can then connect your non-wireless enabled device via Ethernet to the WAP3205 appliance for internet access. This mode helps you if you have a device (without Wi-Fi capability) in an area where there is no Ethernet connection. Use the mode if you already have an access point or wireless router in your network. In wireless client mode, the WAP can connect to an existing network via an access point.
